Raise your hand if you said "who?" a few times. o/. PS: tough luck Canada, we'll know the winners before you get to watch. Nah nah. That's for calling hockey "your game" all these years.

I think it's good to bring celebrities in, but only ones who are known to be long term fans, like Kevin Smith. Of course, I'm biased due to Jon Hamm being the only form of representation or mention the Blues had at the awards show last year:

That is a decent list of celebrities considering it's just the NHL awards, but then I saw Nickleback. How the hell do these guys still get shows? |

There is such a negative association with Nickelback now I feel like the NHL awards just got Rick Rolled. |

Ya... it's too bad that they havn't invented a medium to which you can find out the results. Something that is worldwide perhaps. Like a web of some sort. If only there was some way of seeing results as they happen in a stream of video online.

The awards no one really cares. All this tells me is that KEvin Connelly will be at the podium once again part of Wangs Entourage announcing the first pic. |

Yes. The NHL and NASCAR seem to excel at this. |

Yeah, this is just a foregone conclusion. The two questions are whether Wang Chung will allow Snowjob to actually spend some money via free agency and if they'll trade a couple of assets and get some quality vets.
With our luck, no and no. |

Most of those actors are pretty big hockey fans so im ok with that. Also since its at the encore im pretty sure the after party will be 100x better then the awards show anyways, the nightlife at that hotel is 2nd to none in vegas |

Well, they have to spend something...what are they, $18m under the cap floor? Even if they go with the high cap hit/bonuses, low actual salary route, they'll still have to spend something. Last offseason was a disaster. There has to have been some lessons learned there. I'm holding out hope that we'll be pleasantly surprised finally. |

They should pay us 18 million just to watch them. That will get them to the cap floor. |
